callnotes.fyi uses deepgram.com API to transcribe your call in real-time and gives you answers to questions raised under 5 seconds. Also you can let it notify you when a specific keyword is mentioned.
Is my data secure?
Yes, we take security seriously. All data is encrypted end-to-end, and we never store the audio/video anywhere, just transcriptions.
Which video calling platforms are supported?
The recording works with any audio source-callnotes records directly from your audio output so no matter if you use Google Meet, Zoom or Skype, it will work.
Do I need to install additional software?
No additional software required for windows and linux. For Mac, you need to install Blackhole to record audio output.
How much does it cost?
callnotes.fyi is free to use for limited time. If you need more recording time there are 2 paid tiers.
Does callnotes.fyi offer a web version?
No, just the desktop app. Browser does not allow to record any audio output so technically it's impossible in the browser-hence a desktop app which runs on top of ffmpeg.
Why do I need to log in to use the app?
Every second of audio transcription costs money. Callnotes.fyi needs to be able to meter the usage. Authentication session is valid for a year so unless you change devices you won't need to log in often.
